Chrysocephalum apiculatum
Yellow buttons

This evergreen, spreading perennial is a lovely little groundcover, great for rockeries, pots and both cottage and native gardens. Perfect in a native cottage garden! Doesn't it put a smile on your dial?

Growing to 30-40 cm, its silvery foliage the foil to clusters of yellow button flowers through spring, summer and sometimes beyond. Yellow buttons prefers a sunny position and will tolerate dry periods. A must for those hot spots in your garden.

Native to dry woodlands and coastal heaths in Australia. Trim spent flowers to encourage fresh growth.
